Bike Run Fundraiser
Bike Run scheduled for Sept. 26th of 2009. Location at Love Motorsports in Homosassa. Address: 2081 South Suncoast Blvd. Homosassa, Fl. 34448.
Kickstands Up at 10:00 a.m.
We hope to pull in a lot of interest in helping us raise the necessary funds for the mouse model. We are receiving a lot of nice products for our bike run to offer via raffle or prizes. This event is going to offer something for everyone we hope. We would love to have families attend, come out and bring the kids. So far it looks like we will have a waterslide, bounce house, games, snow cones, popcorn, food/drinks and classic car show. We will also have a hair stylist (Janet from Serenity Day Spa), a massage therapist (Paula) Face Painting (Anne Adams - ERA Realty) and also a psychic (Chris from Mystic Alternatives), tarot card reader (Jeremy from Mystic Alternatives) and possibly other gifted folks from Mystic Alternatives who were all so wonderful and offered to help us raise money at our event and give at least 20% of their days proceeds for research money. You guys rock to take the time out of your day to do this for not only my family; but many who will also join us for the event. Please help not just our family, but many, raise these funds so we can start finding a treatment that may save so many lives! Come out and meet Lynn Sanders of Mystery Diagnosis, founder of EDS Network CARES Inc. and her new spokesman Shannon Rose "The Voice of Florida Wrestling"; both will attend the event along with the other EDS families who will also join us. Thanks Maximum Bands for sending us bands for the day event.....we really appreciate it a lot! Modern Mayhem will play Live Music during 3 - 6 p.m. We will also have local talent John Kalivoda playing piano and possibly other musical instruments and a DJ from Georgia to offer us entertainment.
We will have food (hot dogs/burgers), chips, soda, water, a bake sale along with multiple other items as well. We will have a BEST OF SHOW at approx. 4 p.m. 1st, 2nd & 3rd place awards to winners; awards will showcase the winner and his bike on the awards themselves. We will have an example plaque on hand for you to view until pictures can be taken and awards made and sent to winners.
Ok...OK....we know. Yes its a dual sport bike; but whats wrong with that. On and off road is the best. Cut corners take shortcuts....its a breeze. Trip down fort island in crystal river, fl.
Boys having fun in the back pasture with my Yamaha 350 warrior and the Honda 100. These are not dual sport even though a lot of people use them in that manner.
Couple of friends from Kurts work; the Honda trailed along with the road worthier crowd to ride to Daytona Bike Week.
Ok....so everyone goes to bike week to check out the rides, but who is really getting the looks....lol
Family goes out for a long ride in the woods and takes a well needed break. I miss my bike; for those of you who know the story of how Wendy sold her Yamaha to pay for LJ's EDS test.
